Fave Recipes - Triple Veggie Dip

Sorry I have been slacking! I have been so busy that I haven't blogged for a while. So since I love recipes so much, I am going do one today, even though I should have done it Monday.

This dip is amazing! I am in love with it. Try it out and let me know if you like it.

Baked Triple Veggie Dip -
1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1 can (1lb 3oz) asparagus spears, drained and chopped
1 pkg (10oz) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1 can (8 1/2oz) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 container (8oz) Philly chive and onion cream cheese spread
1/2 cup mayo

~Preheat oven to 375
~Reserve 1/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese; set aside
~Mix remaining 1 1/4 cups Parmesan cheese and all remaining ingredients until well blended
~Spoon into 2 qt baking dish
~Sprinkle with reserved Parmesan cheese
~Bake 35 minutes or until lightly browned
~Serve hot

I like to buy loaves of french bread, sliced, and warmed for this dip.

Something Great In My Shop - Mini Pouch

I recently listed a mini pouch on my Etsy shop Colorful Creations. So far a lot of people have showed interest in them. They think they are adorable! I have a couple more made up that I need to photograph. They are lots of fun to make! Stay tuned for more.

Fave Recipes - Cake Cookies

Cake Cookies are so easy and yummy! They take very little ingredients and turn out soft and scrumptious.

1 box of cake mix (choose any kind!)
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1/4 cup white chocolate chips
1/4 cup your choice of chocolate chips

A really good combo for this recipe is cherry chip cake mix with 1/4 cup white chocolate chips and 1/4 cup cherry chips. Be creative and try all sorts of different kinds. :)

*Mix cake mix, oil, and eggs until blended.
*Stir in chips
*Cook on greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for about 10 mins or until desired doneness.

Amber is the owner of this really cute, whimsical shop. Her boutique offers an array of items for mamma's and babies. From skirts for the little one to nursing pads and scarves for mom, their is sure to be something of interest to you or someone you know!

I recently started making roll up makeup bags. They are fun to make, and I have a bunch of different color combos in my head. :)

Fave Recipes - Frito Pie

This recipe is so easy and filling. Try it out and you can put your own spin on it very easily.

Ingredients:
Frito's
kidney beans
shredded lettuce
taco seasoning
ground beef
tomatoes
sour cream
salsa
sliced black olives

~Brown ground beef, then add taco seasoning according to directions.
~Heat kidney beans in sauce pan (use a lid! lol)
~Chop tomatoes

In a bowl layer all the ingredients mix up and enjoy! Yummy. :)

Today is a day for me to share some of my favorite finds on handmade venues.

One of my new faves is this awesome pleated bag by BagsByColette on Etsy.

I love the color of this one, but she has many different colors and sizes.

I am in LOVE with this French Salt Pig by Blue Sky Pottery on Etsy.

I would love to get a matching salt pig and sugar creamer set.

Wed - Another Awesome Artisan

Recently I found the cutest little bracelet on Etsy made by Floweredsky.



I ordered it with the silver tones instead of the gold, and I LOVE it! Everyone I know thinks of me when they see frogs. That is how much I love them. :)

Floweredsky makes some really cute and unique items and she was really great to work with and super nice.

Tuesday - Something great in my shop

Since Valentines Day is right around the corner I will show you my favorite Valentine hat.

This cute little hat will last long past Valentines and I can make it in any colors.

You can choose from newborn, 3 - 6 months, 6 - 9 months, 9 - 12 months, 12 - 24 months, or child size.

Fave Recipes - Mom's Homemade Beef Stew

Yesterday I made one of my favorite recipes, my moms homemade beef stew. It was super good and perfect for the cloudy, cold day.

Moms Homemade Beef Stew:
Ingredients -
beef stew meat
potatoes
carrots
celery
beef boulion
garlic salt
salt
pepper

* Fill a soup pot with water and place on heat. Add beef boulion, garlic salt, and pepper to taste.
* Brown stew meat in a pan with salt, pepper, and garlic salt.
* While meat is cooking peel potatoes and cut to bite size, peel carrots and chop, wash celery and chop. Add vegatables to pot with water.
* Add browned beef with juices to pot with water.
* Bring to boil and taste. Adjust seasoing if needed.
* Lower temp to low and cook for 4 - 5 hours.
* Serve stew with buttered bread or rolls.
